Eligibility Criteria of Fully Funded PhD Fellowship in Hong Kong 2024
- Candidates from all over the world can apply.
- Aspirants must be a newly enrolled PhD student.
- If an applicant is not admitted to a brand-new full-time PhD program, they are not eligible to apply for this fellowship.
- Students can select university of their own interest from above mentioned list of university.
- The candidates must demonstrate that they had an English-language university education.
- The candidate must show an English Proficiency Certificate if the previous educational medium was not English.
Benefits of Fully Funded PhD Fellowship in Hong Kong 2024
- An amount of HK$13,800 will be given to selected candidates as travelling allowance annually for research relocation and conference.
- For initial fellowship program, application is not required.
- Experience work is not required to apply for this fellowship.
- If the PhD takes more than three years, the university will offer additional support.
- Aspirants will be awarded with annual allowance of HK$331,200.

- In order to be considered for the fellowship, Candidates must submit their first applications through the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme Electronic System (HKPFSES).
- A reference number will be given to the applicants when their initial application has been submitted successfully.
- The candidates must submit applications to the institutions of their choice (up to 2 universities and 2 programs, depending on the priority), and they must provide the provided reference number on the university application form.
- Candidates’ applications will be reviewed on a regular basis and won’t be taken into consideration for this fellowship if they fail to include the HKPFSES reference number in their application.
