​​Scholarships are available for Emirati and foreign students at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). These UAEU scholarships are available to Emirati and foreign students who want to complete their graduate studies in the United Arab Emirates.

The United Arab Emirates is a popular choice for students who want to study abroad. Scholarships from the government and universities are available to assist you pay for your education at some of the best colleges and universities in the country. There are seven emirates in the United Arab Emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Fujairah, Ajman, Ras al Khaimah, Sharjah, and Umm al-Quwain, each with their own university options. You can find five scholarships in UAE for foreign students who want to study at some of the region’s leading institutions.

1. Al Qasimi Foundation’s Doctoral Research Grants

A monthly stipend for living expenses, field research expenditures, furnished accommodation for a year, and research assistance are included in the scholarship amount.

PhD is the only degree that is acceptable.

An international Ph.D. student in the research phase of their dissertation may be eligible for a grant from the Al Qasimi Foundation. The award is based on academic achievement and a well-developed research plan. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a Ph.D. programme at a recognized institution and have an IELTS or TOEFL score of 85 or above to be considered. It is also necessary that a research proposal focused on the United Arab Emirates be authorized by an adviser who has completed Ph.D. courses in the subject area. Proposals for social science research should be centered on education, public policy, or any other relevant topic.

You’ll get a monthly salary, furnished lodging for a full year, and research assistance if you’re awarded this UAE scholarship. A two-page essay, a CV or résumé, current school transcripts, a TOEFL or IELTS report, a copy of an authorized research plan, and two letters of recommendation are required to apply for the award.

2. United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) Scholarship

AED 7,500 per month in living costs and a complete remission of tuition for the duration of the scholarship.

3. Khalifa University Graduate Scholarships

Tuition fee waiver, health insurance, research funding, airline expenses, and a monthly stipend are all included in the scholarship.

Master’s and doctorate degrees are acceptable.

Khalifa International students may apply for a number of scholarships at the University of Science and Technology. For example, the Master Research Teaching Scholarship (MRTS) provides overseas students pursuing a master’s degree programme with a complete tuition waiver. Health insurance, funding for foreign research conferences, flight costs, and a monthly stipend of AED 4,000 for living expenses are all included.

A Doctorate Research Teaching Scholarship is available to international doctoral students (DRTS). The entire tuition costs, health insurance, international research conference assistance, flight expenses, and a monthly stipend of AED 12,000 for living expenses are all covered by this scholarship in the United Arab Emirates. It also provides free university housing or a 2,000 AED monthly housing stipend.

The Combined Master/Doctorate Research Teaching Scholarship (CMDRTS) is available to students who are pursuing both master’s and doctoral degrees. The CMDRTS scholarship offers the same privileges as the DRTS, with a monthly stipend of AED 8,000 for master’s students and AED 12,000 for Ph.D. students.

4. UAEU Undergraduate Scholarships

Tuition Waiver: partial or full-time

Full-tuition scholarships are available to international students who earn at least 97 percent on their Grade 12 exam, have a level 2 score of 680 or higher on the Math SAT Subject Test (level 2), and have an IELTS score of 7. This scholarship in the United Arab Emirates requires that you maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) no lower than 3.8 out of 4 and finish a minimum of 15 credit hours every semester. In order to qualify for half-tuition, students must have at least a 90 percent grade point average, have an IELTS score of 6.5, and have a math SAT Subject Test (level 2) score of 630 or above. GPA must be maintained at least 3.6 out of 4 and 15 credit hours must be completed each semester to keep the award.

You must first apply for a bachelor’s degree at UAEU using their online application portal before applying for a scholarship.

5. Khalifa University Undergraduate Scholarships

Full or partial scholarships are available.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from Khalifa University to be eligible for the President’s Scholarship. At UAE, complete admission with an EMSAT English minimum score of 1400 and 1250 for EMSAT Math is required for this award. In addition, you must maintain a grade point average of 3.3 or above to graduate. An overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 to 3.29 is required to get a full tuition waiver, while a GPA of 2.0 to 2.99 is required to receive a 50% waiver. Scholarships will not be given to students with a CGPA lower than 2.0.

This scholarship is available to Khalifa University students who have achieved an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better throughout their time at Khalifa University. Full admission status, an EMSTA English score of 1400, and an EMSAT Math score of 1250 are required to be eligible for the Partial Scholarship. 50% of tuition is waived if the student’s grade point average (GPA) is 3.0 or above; 2.5 to 2.99 is 25%; and 2.0 to 2.49 is 10%. Scholarships will not be given to students with a CGPA lower than 2.0.

Self-pay Scholarships are available to those who are not eligible for the two other scholarships. Although a score of 1250 in MSAT English and 1000 in EMSAT Math are required to be considered for admission. Additionally, a CGPA of 3.8 or better for the current Khalifa University semester is required to be eligible for the award. As long as the first year CGPA is 3,8 or above, the student is eligible for 20% of the tuition costs. Scholarships are not provided to students with a GPA of less than 3.88.
